What started off with a small personal farm in 1869, has evolved over the years to a diverse operation with a variety of grain, produce, livestock and Christmas trees. Currently Saum Farms has grown to encompass over 800 acres of the gentle rolling hills of the Hocking Valley.
Our Family
8 Generations of Tradition
Saum Family Farm has changed names throughout our centuries long history, but our family has remained the same. We have four active generations of Saums working on the farm on a daily basis, from our 86-year old patriarch to our youngest member at 5-years old! Our family is comprised of full-time farmers, firefighters, nurses, OT's, and military members. Regardless of our day jobs, we all strive to provide our community products they trust and experiences they can hold onto for the rest of their lives!
